Founded by of local entrepreneur John Connell in 2000, Halcon Steel is entering its 16th successful year as the lead provider of steel fabrication for commercial agricultural and industrial buildings including a range of roller doors. With an established commitment to customers for the highest industry standards and quality, Halcon Steel go into 2016 with both CE Certification and ISO 9000 approval pending, supported by the reassurance of the Halcon Steel Warranty.
Between 2004 and 2008, the business expanded from agricultural builds through commercial industrial builds and cladding.In 2008, Halcon Steel further expanded production by investing in our Tuam production facility to facilitate the production of our Halcon Steel Roller Door systems. This was in response to a growing trend in safety awareness for both agricultural and commercial buildings with a move away from conventional sliding doors to the safer roller door systems.
Halcon Steel currently operates a 36,000 square foot production facility in Ballymote, Tuam, County Galway. Our experienced engineers and design team use the latest design technologies for working with customers to create products bespoke to each order. Our production team manufacture and fabricate our products to the highest quality standards tailored to customer specifications. All steel used is manufactured from prime pre-galvanised TATA steel coil produced to BSN EN 10147.1992 specifications.
In 2015, Halcon Steel commenced a new partnership with Teckentrup, international leaders in roller door systems as their local partner for Ireland. Halcon Steel are the sole distributors across the 26 counties for Teckentrup commercial and residential door systems, including roller doors, sectional doors and security doors.
Teckentrup was founded in 1932 in Germany and is today one of the largest European door manufacturers with production plants in Verl-Sürenheide (HQ) and Großzöberitz. Teckentrup’s flexible and local presence in Germany is extended with local representatives and partners across its European and global infrastructure. From the idea to innovation, from the initial design to realisation, everything occurs under just “one roof”. The entire product range is produced at the Teckentrup plants and supplied from just one source.
